On Thursday morning, Highway 11 was closed at Line 7 in Oro Station due to a collision involving multiple vehicles. The Ontario Provincial Police have reopened the northbound lanes after a serious crash occurred around 6:30 a.m.
A traffic reconstruction team is actively investigating the cause of the incident. Provincial police have confirmed that there were minor injuries.
OPP Constable Derek Tilley from the Technical Traffic Collision Investigation Unit remarked, “The situation right now is very dynamic and ever changing. There are still more vehicles are still being added to the collision, and our TIME team is on-site trying to reconstruct the event.”
Both directions of Highway 11 have now reopened to traffic.
